All of us in the ‘Curse of Hendon’ Location Department would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all your help and assistance in making our shoot run smoothly and efficiently. It has been a pleasure to work with you. We hope that you have enjoyed the experience and you would have us back.

Ben Piltz, Location Manager - The Curse of Hendon (feature film)

I have just shot another successful commercial within area, the second in as many months. It's always a pleasure working with the team. When time is critical they do their best to make it happen no matter how tricky and it would be refreshing if everyone took their approach to facilitating film crews. Great team, great locations and always happy to go back. Keep up the good work, it makes our job so much easier. Many thanks again.

I have worked with the Greenwich Film Unit recently on a very tricky and time consuming sequence to recreate a Civil Riot in a town Centre as part of the Channel 4 Police Drama ‘Babylon’. With the close support of the Film Unit we were able to get the key Council departments and Local Residents on board the project. The shoot was a great success thanks to the efforts of the Film Unit who managed to communicate our wishes to all concerned and smooth the way for us to re-create the scenes needed.

The Film Unit worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the project was supported on the ground. It was a great success and I can recommend Greenwich as the place to film.

Tony Hood, Location Manager - Babylon (drama)

The service received from Greenwich Film Unit has always been excellent. I have worked with them many times to film the ITV 1 show 'Off Their Rockers' and they have always accommodated us with ease. They are always happy to consider last minute changes (as is sometimes the nature of our filming) and have been prepared to work with us to get all the permissions in place. At times we have asked for special requirements when filming and the film unit have been great with these.

They are always very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions to make the filming process easier for all. They respond to all e-mails and phone calls promptly, which is essential for sorting out filming locations. I highly recommend filming in Greenwich. Not only is it full of stunning locations but the Film Unit team are also superb.

Jonny Young, Location Manager - Off Their Rockers (TV)

I just wanted to write and thank you for your help in a very successful and smooth shoot at Riverside House, Woolwich. Greenwich Film Unit’s organisation and communication were second to none. Recces were quickly planned and implemented at short notice, while logistics and access on the shoot day had no issues or problems whatsoever – Saving a location manager from a sleepless night.

From the first phone call to the Greenwich Film Office, we were always dealt with courteously and efficiently. Emails and questions were always answered immediately and there were clear guidelines regarding what we could or could not do, making us aware of our position every step of the way. Thank you for making our filming on Belle go so smoothly.

Adam Richards, Location Manager - Belle (feature film)

Working as a location manager in London the Borough of Greenwich is invaluable part of London offering a broad variety of architectural styles; from Christopher Wren's Naval College, the Georgian Victorian and Edwardian heyday periods, from free standing to terraces and cottages to palaces. Plus, to now ultra-modern office and industrial areas with as London's globally recognisable pinnacle, the Millennium Dome. The dedicated film office of Greenwich is a one stop shop that stops at nothing to provide all the information a location manager needs to speedily set up a film shoot with ease.

I shot the opening sequence of Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides in Greenwich Naval College which had a big impact on the areas surrounding it. The Greenwich Film Office worked tirelessly to help to make it a success.

Michael Harm, Location Manager - Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides (feature film)

I would like to say a big thank you to Greenwich film unit for their help during our filming of 'Tom and Jenny' at Riverside House. The furnished office location, looked great and was really easy to service. The security staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and as always everyone at Greenwich Film Unit dealt with our requests quickly and efficiently.

Paula Lamont, Location Manager - Tom and Jenny (drama)

I would like to thank the Greenwich Film Unit for all their help. I found their support both professional and flexible when sourcing and arranging filming on a tight budget. The positive relationship, engendered by the Film Unit, with other council departments made the process smooth and hassle free.
